Welcome to Auroras by Corr!

I chase the Lady Aurora here in Northern Alberta, Canada, and I consider myself her humble paparazzi. Her scientific title is Aurora Borealis but, to those of us who have been witness to the dance, she is not simply a definition in a science book – she is nothing short of a phenomenal Diva. She is more commonly known as the Northern Lights but that is too cold a nomenclature for something so delicate and ephemeral. My first thought (after “grab the gear and start the car”) when noticing the faint spires that signal the Lady’s arrival is a quote from Robert Browning: “God’s in his heaven, all’s right with the world”. Every…single…time.

Follow me as I take you on a visual journey. I hope you grow to love the night sky as much as I. Each of my blogs hosts a featured image but to see my complete collection please check out my gallery. For those of you who would like one of my photography prints to grace your walls, it would be my honour – click here for purchasing info.

I love to share my adventures under the night sky (and sometimes life in general). Nature makes a most wonderful and entertaining companion!
